Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils
The Following historical information Is educational and not intended to treat or diagnose. We do not Mail essential oils. We grow and produce them to use with our flower essences in nonvolatile bases of sweet almond oil, organic vegetable glycerin, floral waters, lotions and shampoo.
AromaHealth organically grows, distills and separates by glass therapeutic grade essential oils. They are pure and undiluted, fresh from organic gardens. Essential oils may be used in inhalation or application as a dilution. When in doubt about a choice, let your nose lead the way. And here's why! They are very concentrated, as well as volatile. They initiate changes in the brain, circulation and hormones in 1/100th of a second. A little goes a long way. Wearing large, undiluted amounts or inhaling for long periods of time can be overwhelming to the brain and immune competence and cause sensitivities.
Keep out of reach with children. Pregnant and nursing mothers, check with your doctor before inhaling and using undiluted essential oils. Certain ones, such as lavenders, tarragon and fennel contain estrogenic properties that can be harmful to you and children, especially used over a period of time.

QUICK REFERENCE FOR ESSENTIAL OILS AND ABSOLUTES
Everyone is born with a unique scent they carry throughout life, like an apple or orange. The aroma is often not detected on a conscious level, unless closeness or intimacy is involved. Essential oils and absolutes may have a harmonizing scent. A therapeutic essential oil is a highly concentrated, steam- distilled fragrant volatile oil produced by tiny glands located in various parts of aromatic plants. The oil evaporates quickly as the aromatic molecules are exposed to air. Several pounds of plant material produce only one dram of pure, undiluted oil. The material must be harvested when oil production is at a peak and distilled immediately. AromaHealth essential oils are steam distilled and hand separated from the aromatic floral waters. No hexane, chemical solvents, or synthetic additives are used to produce our essential oils, floral waters, and flower essences. We produce only the finest quality for our products that Mother Nature has to offer.

Absolutes are natural perfume quality extractions of fragrant flowers and resins that do not impart all of their aroma from steam distillation, such as jasmine. Absolutes are purified from semi- solid waxy flower material. Waxy particles do not dissolve completely and are filtered from the solution. This yields an absolute, the highest grade of natural perfume fragrance, which also have many beneficial properties. Absolutes hold their aroma in natural perfumes better than essential oils. Essential oils are more volatile and dissipate into the air quickly or saturate into a carrier oil base.
Most absolutes are made using chemicals and/or gasoline to produce absolutes. We use no chemicals, gasoline or alcohol.

Absolutes and essential oils may be combined in aromatic blends to complement each other and add an exquisite long-lasting aroma to a blend. Absolutes also contain properties of the original flower or resin.
